Origami Dollar Bill Elephant

This is how to make a fantastic origami elephant from a dollar bill, in only 52 step by step instructions.

When you are finished, your dollar bill elephant will look like this! Isn’t it awesome?

Step 1: Start with a dollar bill

Step 2: Fold the dollar bill in half horizontally and vertically. When opened it will look like this

Step 3: Fold the left corners in to meet the horizontal crease line

Step 4: Fold the left corners in along the crease lines indicated in blue (they should reach the central vertical crease line)

Step 5: Your dollar bill should now look like this – the elephant’s trunk is starting to take shape!

Step 6: Lift the point and fold along the blue crease line

Step 7: When pressed down your dollar bill will now look like this

Step 8: Turn the dollar bill over

Step 9: Fold the right side over to the left, folding where indicated in blue
