Origami Puppy

Walkies! Create your very own origami puppy by following our easy steps below.

Step 1: Place your square origami paper down as shown. We have used single sided paper which will result in the puppy’s ears being a contrasting colour to its body.

Step 2: Fold the paper in half, bringing the top edge down to meet the bottom edge

Step 3: Open the paper up and fold it in half vertically, bringing the left side over to meet the right side

Step 4: Open up your paper and it should look like this

Step 5: Fold 3 of the 4 corners inwards to meet in the centre

Step 6: Turn your paper over and it should now look like this

Step 7: Fold the left and right sides inwards to meet at the centre crease line. As you do this, triangle shaped ‘wings’ should pop out of each side.

Step 8: Your paper should now look like this

Step 9: Fold the top two triangles upwards and outwards until the triangles lie flat

Step 10: Your paper should now look like this

Step 11: Fold the top edge down and crease where shown in blue, as you do this the triangle that lies behind the top layer of paper should pop out
